Currently driving a 135i n55 dct.if I decide to sell this car what would be the perfect replacement? Has to give the same thrill and excitement, as fast or faster, basically if you had to change a 135i for any car around the same price which car would it be?

My option: e92 m3
C63 amg
Audi rs3
Porsche cayman s
Golf R
M135i
A45amg

I find the 135i very hard to replace, there a few options but how much better is it than a 135i?

Honda CRX :biglol:

Just kidding!!!

Depends on what you use the car for? Is it a daily or weekend car?
Do you have kids? Do you need a 4 door? Do you need luggage space?

I see all the options except the E92 is 4 door...

And the cayman.
All depends what you want. The 135i is very difficult to replace. Have to ask yourself then, why replace it?

I would look at an RS5 / E90 m3 or a C63 coupe.

If the C63 came in manual, it would be a no brainer for me.

:biglol: that crx might be an option hahah.

Car is a daily driver,no kids. Doesn't have to be a 4 door. A fair size boot

Has to be about the same on fuel as 135i maybe lighter

With this performance, there isn't terribly much more economical man. The RS's with probably be your best bet, until you floor it. Cayman will be an awesome car, great handling and power delivery but will suffer at the reef a tad. I would probably take the M135i over the A45 simply because I'm quite sure it's a more complete car. E92 M3 is what it is. Will be slightly slower straight line than a worked 135i but gives you a completely different feel.
I would drive and drive and drive, see which makes me feel the most special and puts the biggest smile on your face, even at the pumps and buy it. After you sell me your mods for the 135i. :fencelook:

E92 m3 (08 models price of a 2012 135i, 135s bully m3s on the highveld lol)
C63 (fuel, highveld issue as well)
Rs3 (priced crazy,only exciting from 0-100)

Golf R ( have to mod fully to have fun,not sure how good it will be)
M135i: how different is it from the 135i coupe?

Performance? Do you miss the turbo?

Only thing you'll miss from 135i to M3 is the torque. But you forget about that when you near 8,000rpm :inlove:

C63 or M3 4 door are both epic, plus if you want 2 door they are both available there too.

Otherwise, be different and kick some arse with the A45 AMG.

In that case... C63 + Software + Full Exhaust = Fun Fun Fun! Plus, the sound will just make everything worthwhile!

Cross the Golf R of your list. Not half as entertaining as the 135i

interesting question. nothing comes close in that price range i have to say.

i am in the same situation as you, and it looks like i am sticking to the 135i.

i drove the Scirocco R DSG and I almost fell asleep it was so boring. was very happy to get back into my 135i.

you really have to spend a bit on the VAG R's to get them to perform better than a 135i. problem is, how reliable will they be for a daily drive? and warranty?

M135i is quite pricey when you start adding extras, and i cant get myself to buy a car that does not excite me in the looks department.

NA cars like the M3 and C63 are great, but i am a FI fan, so turbo or SC for me which rules these out.

RS3 - i would rather get an M135i. RS3 is boring and WAY overpriced.

1M is great but the prices they selling them at are insane.

A bit older, but how about a clean E46 M3 CSL, if you can find one.

Not gonna be as fast up here in GP, but would certainly tick all the right boxes when it comes to fun.
