Could you tell me whats the pros and cons on having this item?

All I can say get it.
The Forge DVs literally clip on the stock piping and anyone can do this. The only negative which could happen is the stock hoses may blow off or leak under high boost and it may be better to replace it with the hose that comes with the Forge kit. But even this is plug & play.

Here is a picture of the complete Forge kit which I also used on my car:

Here you can see the stock DV and the silver Forge Diverter Valve

The Forge DVs also go perfectly with an aftermarket charge pipe from STETT or AR design. Can’t lose with these DVs.

There is no cons to having this besides motorplan issue but they come off easily.
The pro is that the stock DV's start leaking after time or in some cases from new. Test have been done showing these leaks. With a boosted car it is even more important having them as you might land up in the situation of overspinning the turbos to compensate for the leak loss. In my books its a must have.

I think George and Twinz have summed up the benefits quite well - thanx ;)

Here are some other general points regarding Forge replacement diverter valves :

- Servicable item so it can be maintained through its lifetime (OEM must be thrown away)
- All aluminium piston design so stronger more durable (OEM is a plastic casing with butyl diaphragm)
- Tuneable spring pressure (OEM spring pressure is fixed) - the kit comes with green and yellow springs

Cons :

- Non OEM
- Piston is slightly heavier than stock diaphragm so it can be marginally slower to react

These are nice. The production car guys use them,
but they do not recirculate the air. So you get a nice blow off sound,
and the production cars sound good! :thumb:
I have not seen this particular setup until last weekend when they came
to cape town.. Look, heres a picture.

Do you have more pictures of the engine bay? The red thingy looks like an oil catch can...would like to see the filter being used. They have obviously replaced some of the cheap stock piping. The chargepipe looks like the N55 platform. I have never seen a BOV like that but then again i have seen very little in life. More pics would be great.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I would like to see more of the engine bay too. The manifold more importantly as it removes the direct injection and has injectors in it.

Sorry guys, I couldn't take photos of everything I wanted. Didn't have enough time. Just got one more photo
of the other car. They are amazing though.
