Footwell Module FRM2

Hi Guys

Just searched the forum and cannot find and answers regarding the frm2 modules.

I want to change my frm1 to frm2 but now my friend told me that I would need a certain model of them.

I want to change to allow for Angel DRL's.

The model I can buy for R900 is E9X-E8xCA-NSW Part number 61359159826

Will this one work for xenons?
Any footwell guru's that can assist?

That will not work for Xenon the one works with Xenon it will be having Bi-xenon (nsw) its fog lights.
And did you check if you dot have DRL on your module it might be there but disable i can check it for you if your around Jozi

Are you sure that part is not a FRM1 as well?. FRM2 would say FRM2 or NFRM or one of those things. In general, it also has to say it supports xenons. You can install a FRM3 as well to give you that feature.

I've done this upgrade on my car (also with xenons) and installed a FRM3 and it works 100%. I'll probably be selling my car soon so you can have my module if you want at R1100. Perfect working condition - I think one of the plastic clips on the housing was broken but I can't remember for sure. I'll code it to your car with angels for DRL. PM me if you are keen.

Definitely a frm2 it says on it "FRM2 E90 Fog LT" but would rather just get the frm3 from you.
