Moranor i didnt want to get into this but let me explain my response to you......You continually state the obvious (in most of your replies on this and other threads). You unrelated comments, stating the obvious and guess work do not add value in the thread ........these sorts of comments are clear in you previous post:
- look an engine swap is a massive job... it has to be worth your while (serious? So rebuilding a motor and fitting a super charger is not??)
-Yes you SHOULD be able to swap this engine in with minimal trouble (oh thanks, how have you come to this conclusion)
- Not sure if it will be worth it (not sure how this helps with the actual swop but ummm ok?)
- Not sure if you can have it done for the 1st race of next year (not that this point matters but do you even know when the first race is?)
Should I give more examples?
Remember I originally said it was a race motor at a very good price, so what difference does it make what the dyno graph and torque curve states to the actual swop?.........perhaps its because you couldnt find the answer on Google??............
Anyway, here are the basic details on the motor in case it makes any difference (to you)!
The motor is a 210 kw (on 95 unleaded) production car motor that has been built by the BMW team and has all the correct internals like cams, rods, pistons, etc etc fitted to it. It has been proven to be a very reliable motor and the same motor was used without reliability issues for two years by the Production car guys before they got their new cars. It is a spare motor that has run very little and I have been offered it for R15k complete. (hence my original question)
