Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. :praise:

Got so damn much to update on both the cars, but just not finding the time to get it done. Will see if I can do it soon.

Update Time:

So can start off with the exterior update. Rims were done and I was happy with them, but was 2 minded about fitting a 1m bumper on the car. I purchased one and had in storage, when someone from CT made contact and said he has an e82 Performance bumper that he wanted to sell and get a 1m bumper.

Knowing how scares they are, I decided to jump at the opportunity to make the 1er even more unique and we struck a deal. The splitters were carbon , but sprayed and badly damaged, so I decided to get them fixed and fitted as well. The outcome was a pleasant surprise to the myself and the wife. We opted to go with making the splitters white as well just to see how it looks.

Onto the pics...

Bumper on day of arrival :

And then after fitment with an adjustment to the coilies to make it sit a little lower and aid in achieving the more aggressive look

Enjoy and thanks for reading.

Looking good , just on a side note, that tow hook cover pops out very easy, get some laminex or something to stick over it. We really struggled getting a replacement for that cover.

Thanks bud. Ill attend to this next week.

In preparation for the new radio, I wanted to move away from the stock terrible looking manual aircon control and move to the automatic climate control system.

Chatted to Gert and whats needs to be done, and i have to find some time to get it coded correctly but its been retrofitted.

Forum member @bmw1mv10 ,hooked me up with a used unit which he said I should test to make sure its fine. Upon arrival the knobs did feel sticky so I stripped it down to give a good clean before installing.

A solid cleaning with tooth brush, benzyn snd some earbuds worled wonders and every thing was put together and the sticky buttons issue was resolved.

After the cleaning and compared to the Manual system...

Simple install just removal of the main trim and then unplugging to sets of cables.

Fitted and functioning.

Next up was the interior trim pieces. These were wrapped in 2016 in 5d carbon wrap. I couldnt find oem carbon pieces so decided to have them carbon skinned. Waiting for the arrivial of the dash trim to come back from being covered, but heres some pics of them as is. I did the doors handles, center console, steering wheel insert as well.

Also couldnt get my steering buttons to work correctly with the radio, so decided to bring in a complete plug and play unit.

Pics of radio which is also android 7.1 fitted with carbon pieces...

And lastly I decided to change the 10 year old side markers with new ones from BMW. The old ones with looking yellow due to age and even polish didnt help much.

Almost forgot. Fitted a Red start stop switch as well from RENNZPORT.

Thats all for now guys....need to update the 335 thread now
