Hey buddy great progress.
There are android stereos specifically made for e87 so that your controls work. Not sure if you up to buying another unit though

Wheel Update....I kept the 135 rims on for 20 months, thats a Damn Record...
In July last i secured a set of rims from a forum member that were perfect offsets for the e87. Did a test fit and they fitted snug, but I didnt bother fitting and left them in storage whilst I focused on other things.
Finally in April, I decided its time to fit them them on see how I feel about them. I had some Good Year AS2 with decent life also in storage, so slapped them on and gave it a shot. Very please with the outcome and the SO loves them.
The AS2 Ive found have tons of grip, and the back doesnt come out when I give it stick as often.

And finally fitted...
