Thanks for compliments guys.

Been quite busy so haven't had much time to update.

with regard to the Coilies, I had a slight problem using the M3 shock mounts, either there was a manufacturers fault, there lay a problem with the plastics seats, and the installer didn't fully understand what he was doing.
Either way, I removed the entire system and is currently sent to Bilstien to make sure everything is in order before I refit it with someone who came highly recommended from this forum. Hoping to get it done within the next month. For now the H&R springs are back in with the BMW performance Shocks.

After Having a look at Twinz and Revo's Squeaky clean engine bays, the inspiration started and work began to finally get my engine bay properly cleaned and do the e90 M3 Micro filter housing upgrade. The main benefits besides the clean aesthetic appeal overall look

- Is a reduction in weight
- Less time consuming when the need arises to remove it
- More Engine bay space is opened especially on the cold side, this enables us to work on the intakes and the charge pipe side of things without removing the Micro filter housing at all.

Boosted gave me a head up that Richard_H had a set he wasn't using, and Richard offered me a price I couldn't refuse.

I used some Auto Finesse Revive which Fuzz gave me some time back. What a product, and it came with a good heart, so I guess it worked even better. Thanks Bro.

DETAIL:

I decided to hand over the looking after the paintwork to the pros and asked Moe from Crazy Rides to give the car a much needed detail. Moe did a FANTASTIC job and really brought the cars paintwork to as perfect as possible, bearing in mind the car is already almost 8 years old. He did say the car paint was extremely hard and tough to work on, I laughed and said I wouldn't expect anything less from my car...She loves to challenge any work being done on her, but it's all worth it in the end. We ended off the detail using a product I having tried before. Moe will post review and some pics if he has time.

What we were dealing with since the new bonnet and bumper...horrible holograms and swirls for days.

EXO:

Twinz and Revo from RennZport were kind enough to give me Bottle of Exo to make use of the car. "EXO is Gtechniq’s ultimate hydrophobic coating – it simply out-beads any other products on the market. By providing, a lotus leaf effect which repels dirt and water, EXO ensures your vehicles surface stays cleaner and glossier for much longer."

After the detail, I cleaned the car, went to two wedding and took it on a nice break away to Sun City over the past week. Got back on Friday, and was blown away by how little Contaminants actually stayed on the surface. A 2 bucket wash, revealed the beautiful paintwork once again. Thanks again Moe for a job very well done.

Lastly, I finally got down to fitting something that in Storage for months  I did do a test fit 3 months back, but never got down to making it permanent. I managed to get a good deal on an OEM BMW Performance strut brace..I'll let the pics speak for themselves :=)

Nice Firi! I love the M3 cowel mod you did. Just note that you'll be paying 4* more for micro filters, so rather not smoke in the car :roflol:

The style of this car...geez

I think can be best described by a statement I read in a BMW ad a while back - Quietly Overstated.

Very nicely done indeed:clapper:
