Finally strutbrace Fitted

I'm very curious as to how much of a difference you felt after fitting it?

I once fitted one to my E30 325is, and felt.... well no difference at all actually, but it looked real pretty :rollsmile:

Rick, if you drive like I do, then trust me, you feel that the car is more sturdy in the front, as if the wheels is making better contact with the road.
This has to be because the brace is stopping the front from twisting and moving around.
...and it looks pretty.

Sounds like I need to run further "tests"

Yip, but like frikkie posted, apperently the aluminium one expands allot so get a carbon one ok. :thumb:

Yip the nose tends to dip alot less and none of thet flaoting affect when suddenly cornering into corners. Steering is more direct in sharp turns. I can say when driving a 318i (my Dads one) it was more stable in a sharp turn at the same speed than mine before the brace but now its oppesite way since the brace. Its due to the wieght of the engine

Yip they do expand. To get a happy medium drive the car then let it cool for a few hours then loosen the adjustment screws and tighten them again and you sorted:thumbs:
