Hey dude !

lol, was surprised to see my name popup there..
It's coming allong slowly.. I've just sold my E34 and maserati, and the merc was also sold a short while ago. point being so I can concentrate on the E39..
just work has been hectic lately, so I also havn't been online much. I'm shopping around for turbo's at the moment. getting ready to put her up on stands cause she has a BUNCH of things that need to be done... need to replace the front left shocktower, its mushroomed up, and deformed. I hit a huge piece of curb laying on the edge of the road a while ago at a construction area, I reckon its from that.. also I wanan change to E36 M3 shifter cause its shortshift for the E39. getting a TunerMotorsport flywheel and clutch, I'm not happy with the custom flywheel I have now, I think they mis-alligned the ringgear, so I'm getting a mis-fire on cyl2 and cyl8 every now and then. so many things to be done... the plan is to first turbo the car and run low boost, get all the plumbing and piping sorted out, will start with manifolds. and then see how she runs, if its all good, I will pull the block, get it iron-sleeved and forged pistons/conrods and maybe a modified crank which will be stage2 of the project. still argueing with myself if I should go with the garrett GT35R's or the turbonetics equivalent whic have cermaic ball bearings..
but yeah, lots and lots of planning because its quite tricky to work everything out to make it work properly. I wanna try get the gearbox rebuilt and strengthend also, I just havn't found a place that can do that yet. cosmetics I'll leave for last
