I agree we need more track days! But I think it's quite a mission to organize and also the issue with being able to use the track now.

Basically Yes!!

You pay R300 for 1 driver and 1 car (R200 if you are a WPMC member), select a class i.e novice, intermediate or advanced (each have their own overtaking rules) and have your car scrutineered (basically just check that everything is in place like wheel nuts, battery is tied down, seatbelts work, etc.).

You as driver or passenger need to wear a helmet, long pants, long sleeves and closed shoes.

Thats it:thumbs:

You go out for about 3 x 15 minute sessions in your class and then the day ends with an open session of about 30 mins to 45 mins - if you still have any petrol, brakes and / or tyres left :=):

These are sadly no longer monthly due to the issues discussed in the other thread.

The next event is only on 24 August from 2pm - 6pm.

Maybe you should just pop around tomorrow from 3pm till 6pm.

TOP TOP Day, and I second what Bugger says regarding meeting alot of you. Sat talking KAK, drinking a few beers afterwards watching the okes who had dropped back a litre of Brandy before dragging there 1600 turbo'd Ballade's :)

THE CSL was phenomenal, the surprise was how good the 328i track car was (even at this early stage).

AWESOME!
