Hi Burgy we have a small issue but we can fix it. At the point when I posted my commitment to sponsor the dyno day, no-one else had stepped up officially in the thread and committed to sponsor the day. So I already booked the 3rd of Jan at WRC and bought the trophies, etc, arranged the classes and arranged with other parties and with the cancer Shavathon initiative at the centre that day.

So now if you tell me you guys want to sponsor it, then that's fine I'm not goin to argue with anyone. I don't see where it was officially announced but nevertheless, so be it. But we will have our dyno day at WRC on the 3rd and Xcede will give half the money for each dyno run towards the cancer Shavathon.

Hate to disagree....If exhaust boxes are low , its going to touch. However im sure Hilton will make a plan to get it on. My M3 didnt make it up onto that dyno.

Just to clarify something on your side, you also did not officially say you are sponsoring the event, you just said you would. Where was this "officially announced"? Also on the thread you just asked if the 3rd was a date that suites everyone, that does not imply commitment to sponsorship nor the organization of the event itself. Burgy and Sankekur have been working on the organization of the event. So when you saw Burgy's post why not speak to him in private and discuss whether you could assist in sponsorship and organization or that you had a plan to assist why the cancer shavathon?

If you had organized such a "big event" in the first place and you had already organized trophies and with the Cancer Shavathon why keep it a secret? Why not announce it on the forum as soon as possible so that as many people can get involved? Why organize everything and not tell anyone? Sounds very fishy. Personally i think you just trying to give yourself credibility with the event so that people will feel compassionate towards your cause especially with a cancer shavathon.

You are a forum sponsor and although there may not be hard and fast rules about events and invitations surely this would be the first place you would mention such a "big event"?

Surely certain posts should be made directed at each other on PM.

The Dyno Day was a thought that the fanatics got together to try and get something going so that everybody could meet.

Sponsor or no Sponsor , be adults about the event and get it sorted. If either party cannot do it , we the fanatics surely can arrange something , its not that hard.
