The F10 M5 does, so my guess is the F80/82 will as well.

Remember M cars are limited to 262km/h true. :thumbdo:
CocoPops said:So 5 things:
1. Not sure what everybody expected in terms of performance, I expected this performance and its very quick even short shifting first gear.
2. All car companies are doing the sound through stereo system, they have to due to the higher insulation from the external world.
3. An M is not made for only straight line racing (I sound like a stuck record), the motor is going to be brilliant for track racing and due to its lightweight the car will be light years ahead of any non M car (M Performance included). If you have been following the interviews they have had with M engineers on this car, it truly is a step forward for M.
4. BMW power.
5. // M Power.
ChrisBrand said:As BMW Fanatics should know this car isnt built for straight line speed. 0 - 100 in just over 4 seconds is just a perk. Im sure with the new turbo's the car is gonna be able to get on the power much quicker out of the corners as you dont have to ref it to 6000RPM to get the most out of it like the straight six's of yesteryear.
Yes you might get beaten by a golf with a cone filter. and yes it might not be the roar of the V8 or the scream of the straight six but the M3/M4 is still gonna be the benchmark.
Dont bother racing the golfs (even KO4's) or RS's or AMG's (but go ahead and race Kimeran in his because his is special), rather take on a few Porsche's on the mountain pass tpo fully enjoy the capabilities of the ///M.
After all, thats what it was built for.

Hahaha aaaawwww
The sad truth of Today tho, is that people only care about robot to robot or freeway races.
Nobody cares about track times etc.
Look at the amount of Golf R's rolling around killing 1M's, E92s, C63s etc and are super proud of it
