If this is also news to you, BMW has recently decided that the Akrapovic Exhaust is no longer approved.
Could someone please provide some insight to the matter and why? After BMW have been promoting and installing it since the launch of the BMW M3/M4 in South Africa?
Does termination of Motorplan cover also include only having the Akrapovic backbox (slip-on line) installed?
If installed does Motorplan not cover any relatable damaged caused by the exhaust to the supposed "broken"/"affected" area of the vehicle should something go wrong? Or will it not cover anything anymore even if it has absolutely nothing to do with damage that may be related to the installation of the exhaust?
What about those who have had the Akrapovic exhaust system installed (evolution line) by an authorised BMW dealership while it was still approved a few months back? What repercussions do they sit with now?
Is there someone I can speak further to about the matter that works for BMW that I can be referred to?
I'll appreciate any ones effort in answering my questions :ty:
