F30 USB Musi File Format Windows 10?

Hi Guys

I have quite the annoyance on the F30.
Even though its got a big ass screen, touchpad and navigation bar I find that it does not recognise each folder from the USB, I can sort by track, or artist or genre, or album but not folder, my E90 did this perfectly. I could easily go into each folder , play content and move to the next one.

Maybe I am just being thick but does anyone know how I can name or format files from Windows so it would be more easily recognisable on the F30.

You need to choose search directory/folder (can't remember which it is since I do this on autopilot LOL) it will show folders in the list and allow you to enter them (and sub-folders). Once in there, it will show and cycle through only the contents of that folder until you search directory again and choose another or the root.

If you choose a file in the root folder then the subsequent list will not have the folders in it.

As far as I know there is no other way to do this.

I'm no expert, but try to format the usb to FAT32 instead of NTFS and see if that makes a difference. In many applications the systems dont handle the "large file systems" as well as others.
