f30 M/SPORT RIMS PEELING

Hi guys, I have 2013 MSPORT with the 19"rims, I have noticed that the centre area around the caps on the front rims are peeling. BMWSA replaced 1 rim and sent it for assessment only to come back and say that the peeling is caused by chemicals I have used which is rubbish as I don't use rim cleaners on my rims. Also if it were a incorrect chemical how come the back 2 rims are fine? :thumbdo:Car has wides n narrows. I Have seen another car with the same rim and same story so I want to build a case, has any1 else had this problem? :arghlease advise.

Sorry to hear about your rims. I'm sure they'll replace both.
First wait for them to get back to you before building a case.

:thumbdo: BMW are **** they will try every way they can to get out of paying, next they will say your dog is to blame for peeing on the wheels.

Last option is to speak to your insurance...

Tell the dealer his ******** . you want a report that that tells you exactly what chemicals are causing it to peel and they must prove that you used any chemicals on the rim itself. further more if such chemicals were used why is it only effecting a specific area of the rim and not the entire rim.

:=):Let's see how that goes! Thing is that BMWSA is the issue not the dealership as the approval has to come from those cakes..who don't have a f#*king clue.

I was walking though a used dealership the other night and noticed this on one of the BMW's on the floor. It seems peeling of the paint around the center cap, revealing white, grey background. Is this what you referring too. I though to myself the rim was repaired but maybe now its seems to be a factory problem,.

After waiting almost 6 months with many calls /emails they came back and said it is a chemical issue, fcukers wasted my time and money, new guy in charge of KZN is of no help.. :RedNo:
