OK. Help me here incase I'm mental. Just test drive a F30 320d M sport lci and the steering wheel on it feels completely kak in my hands. It's pretty to look at but it's too frigging skinny. So for me at least that stupid thing ruins the entire car. Finance has been applied for and was exited about getting it and now I'm so disappointed I don't know what to do.

You are referring to the MSport steering wheel? 3 Spoke?

I used to prefer the perforated MSport of the E90 too to be honest..

Exactly that. It looks brilliant but the feel is, I can't really describe it but I just don't want to drive a car with a steering wheel that feels like that. After all that's the primary thing in the car that your hands are always in contact with.

It's probably very small or i really am mental, but as soon as I started driving the car I emediately new I didn't want to buy it cause of the steering wheel. If it's the feel of it or the thickness I'm not sure it's just something about it I don't like at all. The stupid thing is I have been coveting that steering wheel for the last 3 years when it became std on the F20's and I had to make due with the steering wheel on my 2012 model. I literally went from really exited to massively disappointed in about 1min. A buddy of mine has a E90 320d m sport and it was just so much better as well when I drove his car to Sekunda for a site visit.

Been thinking of getting a E92. But then I think a M3 rather than a diesel. Gonna do some searching when I get home and see what's what.

Mods. Could you please change the title of the thread to 'test drove a 320d but buying a 135i DCT instead'

I haven't taken delivery yet so can't add to much detail really but hope to have it early next week!!! Really excited.
