F30 key Fob(first problem)

Took in my car this morning for a fix on the breaks making a grinding noise
when breaking and when when releasing the break pedal, I want to understand. My wife went to work with my key in her car and had to take the spare. first thing I noticed all my pre-sets on the radio and and all things that I have customized are no longer available(thinking it sits on the key) :fencelook:. when they read the key there was a lot of errors that they attributed to it being because I used the spare key(how true is that?). Please advise

True settings are on fob. with regards to errors these could of been there when you took delivery. I was told by a BMW technician that the messages should get erased as the problems are fixed or else they could delete all the errors and see if they re-occur.

BMW are sneaky because the last time I took my car in and asked for a print out the service advisor evaded me and made me forget all together that I needed the print out.

Some stuff they do hide and say it is normal. Lol I was asked if I drive with the bonnet open.

lol mine has a bug with the computer or it has a spook sometimes needles jump when you switch ignition on. Asked BMW they said it is normal. Everything is normal or within spec for them.
