howzit guys

I was chatting to one of the guys at Alberante about M performance mods for my 320. he said there is nothing available but that JSN do mods that make it about as strong as a 330 and then that specific dealership has to guarantee your motorplan.

Anybody heard of this or done it?

Never heard of it, but will be cool if its true.
Will give the boys in the 320's some more poke

yeah it will be very cool, i want to try make a plan to go past there and chat to them about it and see if its true

I read somewhere that most part numbers are the same between the 320 and 328 N20 engine except for the pistons and software, plus a few other smaller bits.

To be honest i doubt there is a kit for the 320i as its not seen as one of their more performance oriented cars..

Think he means the AC Schnitzer parts available there which I believe are now cosmetic only (no chips allowed anymore).

I've heard of the service manager at Sandton Auto offering upgrades and ensuring they keep your business...

i called JSN now and they do have something for the 320's, its AC Schnitzer stuff which is a problem with BMW now that they lost their accreditation.

He says you lose your drivetrain warranty (Engine, gearbox and diff) with BMW but JSN will replace parts that worked harder due to the upgrades done by them

Software R55k (reckons they seen 320's between 180 and 201 kw on the flywheel - says ave is 180 though)

Exhaust (back box only that looks like 340 style) R35k

stage 2 intercool - R24,5k

Im all for performance upgrades.. Ive got a JB4 on my 320i.. R5k second hand. Exhaust tips + Muffler Delete.. R1.5k

Thats more than enough sound for me, and for a 320i It feels perfectly zippy enough. For prices like that... nah. Sell and buy a second hand 328i or something, if you're wanting more gains.

nah i don't think he is, I know JSN well enough to know they have done quite a few. JSN sticks to their word when it comes to their offerings. I say instead of speculating, lets get it from the horses mouth.

I used them for my BMWs with mplan claims etc etc and they guys are honest and pull through with their word.

That is some crazy money , nice gain in power but would rather sell the car add the 115K to what you get and buy a 330
