i think the 335i would come with a lot more standard kit than the rest of the series,so folding mirrors an option on 320d but standard on 335i

You are right option SA430 - R3050 - Interior and Exterior mirrors with automatic anti-dazzle function and exterior mirrors fold-in function

You are correct petrivanzyl. Just checked out all the paperwork and this is indeed an option across the range.

Was this in Durbanville by any chance? I went to a meeting in Durbanville on the 20th of March and saw a white 335i going on a test drive. The chap was weaving through the traffic at quite a speed.

Nice pics by the way :=):

BMW Live keeps you up to date: via Internet-based mobility services. Current news (RSS-Feeds), weather services and further information are transferred directly into your vehicle. The only requirement is that the Bluetooth data connection on the mobile phone in your BMW should be activated.

Oh wow...deciding the options on my car
and I have the connected package selected which comes with internet preparation.
What is the difference between internet option and bmw live option?

On a side note cant find the option for anthracite roof lining in the price list. Is it standard on the sport line? If not how much is it?

Sorry, I'm not sure, guess we would only know once we played with it.

Also cannot find it in the price list. However it is in the brochure as part of the M package (that only comes in July 2012). In the brochure it is listed as "BMW Individual headliner Anthracite" there is also a pic of it "BMW Individual headliner Anthracite, with A-, B-, and C-pillar trims, sunblinds and roof grab handles in a sophisticated Black fi nish (included with the M Sport package)." Cannot find a price.

Internet option: Your BMW can take you to many places around the world. And, as of now, you can also travel the information highways of the virtual world without any limitations at all: with Internet access from BMW ConnectedDrive.

Unlimited access to the World Wide Web from the driver’s seat and everywhere else: BMW is the world’s first automobile manufacturer to offer on-board Internet access. You can surf the Web on the Control Display and use the iDrive Controller as an ideal alternative to a computer mouse and all its functions.

The websites you want to view can be accessed by entering the URL or by selecting a site address from a list of personal favourites. A special BMW server is responsible for making sure that the content you access is transmitted to and can be displayed by your BMW – even in the case of large data volumes. The result is that you can surf in your car just as easily as if you were at home. But with much greater mobility.

BMW live is as per petrivanzyl feedback above.

The Anthracite roof lining costs R4,600.00 and is a option across the entire range. For reference the code is 775.

Thanks! Was at Auto Atlantic - they didn't have a 335i for test drives or on static, but was able to get a sneak peak at this one which was already sold and waiting for delivery for the owner after the official launch no doubt. I think pretty much all of these new F30 demo cars are getting quite a work-out! :fencelook:

My father went to Auto Alpina this morning and took some pics of my car before the pre-delivery is done on Monday. Wanted to have some pics with the paperwork and plastic still on the car. Here are some of the images:

Right I forgot you can take it with black...

I think I'd rather not see mine "pre-delivery" - it looks "unfinished"/"messy".

That's fantastic - pretty special to have pics of the car still with "her wrapping on"! Strange though the car looks as if it is slightly raised with the tyres still touching the ground?? :fencelook:

You didn't take the lights package only the Xenon's?
How much was it with all these extras?

It still has "shipping brackets" inserted in the shocks/springs, hence the height being so much between the wheel arches and the wheels.

Yes, opted for the Xenon's only. I worked out what I wanted to spend upfront and then started to build the car. It is easy to get carried away with adding all these awesome options... only issue is that they quickly grow the overall price.

I took a long time to spec my car. Read a lot online and also spoke to the sales person, who in turn called the factory to find out what was going to be available, etc. In early February, there wasn't a brochure and official price list yet.

The only option I could not get upon confirming my order was active cruise control. If I remember that is coming out in August sometime.
