Hi,

Firstly, a BIG THANK YOU to all who have been commenting on my threads and those whom I've been messaging privately. Everyone's comments (F30 drive comfort, reviews, exterior/interior colour, tints, etc) have been invaluation.:ty:

I was considering a 328i for performance, then a 330d for improved consumption and until my recent test drive, my heart is set on a 335. Plenty of the extras I wanted comes standard on the 335, with the performance being an added bonus :joy:

I've spec'ed the car as follows:

Model: F30 335i Sedan
Msport Package
* 8-speed Sports Automatic
* 19" M light alloy wheels
* Colour: Estoril Blue Metallic
* Interior: Leather Dakota Black
* Xenon headlights
* Extended Light Package
* Instrument cluster with extended content
* Park Distance Control (PDC),front & rear
* Glass Sunroof
* Headlamp washer system

I've removed the "Comfort Access" option and am considering the following extras instead:
- Interior and Exterior mirrors with automatic anti-dazzle function
and exterior mirrors fold-in function (Love in the fold in feature, but only if its linked to the alarm button)
- BMW Live (I'm an internet junkie but not sure what this entails)
- Personalised Plates
- Windows Tinting
- 3-in-1 Paint Protector (Service Provider comments - "We heat up the paint on your vehicle and do a 3-stage polish process protecting your vehicle from current and future industrial fallout etc. We include leather treatment and scotch-guarding on the carpets")

Any comments? Have I missed anything...affordable :=):?

Thanks

Awesome :praise:

But I would really consider that comfort access :thumbs:
Helps preserve the leather on the seats, as well as much easier to get in and out :thumbs:

Avoid this like the plague

- 3-in-1 Paint Protector (Service Provider comments - "We heat up the paint on your vehicle and do a 3-stage polish process protecting your vehicle from current and future industrial fallout etc. We include leather treatment and scotch-guarding on the carpets")

@ Josh-ZN - USB/Bluetooth is standard
@ skiet - hifi sound is standard
@ ChefDJ - I do love the comfort access but for R7200 I thought it was a bit steep and I would only use the keyless access, not the "no touch" tail gate feature.

Was abit hesitant about this :ty: WMy white car was very prone to industrial fallout - not sure why, and had it treated regularly.

Would I need any special paintwork protection at this stage?

You can have it protected but i would personally avoid anybody who has no clue what they are doing.. They normally cause more damage than good wen it comes to paint protection. The other issue is that the paint on these cars is rather thin and you have no idea how much gets removed when these guys get stuck into the so called 3 stage polish.

You could ask a reputable detailer to decontaminate and clay the car on a regular basis and top up with a decent LSP. Or do it youself if you are hands on.

Wow, I am jealous. You're getting a really potent machine.
The front diffuser looks really cool!

Rather just clay bar the car, it's probably cheaper anyway and works really well. :biglol:
