I recently picked up my F30 330D. Its a demo and had the Performance Kit Fitted.
Absolute beast of a car. The power and the drive is exceptional.
One thing I think could do with a bit of improvement is the exhaust tone.
Its really quite, which I appreciate when cruising but would like to hear more of the engine tone when driving a bit harder.
Any thoughts? I heard there is an F30 M Sport Exhaust but need to look into it.

Yep there is an M performance exhaust which is about another R15k AFAIK.

figures and testing attained with a good 50ppm fuel.
860mb pressure.
255/35/19 tyres at 2.6 bar.
ppk kit given 200km to adapt.

std 330d 60ft = 2.43 sec ppk 330d 60ft = 1.99 sec
200mts = 9.03 sec 200mts = 8.79 sec
400mts = 13.93 sec 400mts = 13.59 sec
speed = 159km/h speed = 163km/h

Best of 3 runs figures used.
Gearbox in sport gives the best figures.
Do not even try manual, the gearbox beats you every time.
With ppk the comfort setting on switching on now gives the
same as the standard car in SPORT. Switch to sport and you have the extra.
I will give an update on the fuel economy as soon as i have sufficient data. Compare apples with apples and drive same route. speed etc.

Good day Phantom...... We are still waiting for your updates on fuel economy and the 0-100 per sec. We bought the new 2014 BMW 330d, the lux line.. the dealership fitted the ppk.....(R22,000) the day the car arrived from the factory and gave us all the ("new") parts they had taken out, the car ride is very smooth and the power is awesome..... I must confess though... this BMW is the best one we had bought.... we had 3 other BMW's 1998 323, 2002 330d - sport package, and the other 2006 330d had no optional extra's.... there are no comparison, the new BMW.... is a dream.... extremely comfortable.... If you have any more updates on performances.... speed... fuel consumption..... I really would appreciate it.

Car magazine issue October 2014 has a Road Test Special between pages 112 and 113 on the new F30 330d.
Congratulations on your great choice.I would wish this car on any BMW fanatic.
The PPK kit has an advantage of plus minus 0,3 second on accelleration figures.The 0-100 by Car was 6.03sec.My test was 6.00 with standard car and after PPK 5.7 sec.
The fuel economy will blow you away on this car.On the long road very low 5's and in some cases you will even see 4.9 litres/100km.The average has never gone above 6.5. :rollsmile:

I know this is an old thread,but are there any updates wrt the 330d ppk?
Fuel figures and overall info after having the ppk fitted for a long period of time.
