F30 328i

Hi guys and gals

I am looking at getting the 328i as a daily driver. I was wondering if anyone on the forum here has one?

I'm looking at getting the M-Sport package as well and HUD :inlove: but I am divided on navigation. For about 4k I can get a TomTom or Garmin which is way cheaper than the 22k needed for the BMW Navigation. Just wanted to know if nav is a must or if I can let it slide.

thanks :)

But thinking about it, don't you need the nav as a prerequisite for the HUD? :thinking:

As far as I know, it isn't needed. The configurator on BMW doesn't add it automatically but it is a good thing to check.

Xenons, HUD, TomTom :=):
Now that sounds like a plan!

Just keep in mind, whatever you spend on extra's will not be considered on trade in value. So if you drop 50k on extra's, dont expect to get it back.

My view is also HUD instead of Nav, cause HUD is just epic...

So i think I'm gonna trounce Nav in favour of HUD :D How is the ride with the runflats though? I was considering going 19" wheels but I raed about runflats having a harsh ride. Any ideas?

I have a f30 MSport with 19inch runflats on. Ride is great and much much better than my E90 running on 19inch runflats. On a MSport 19s is a must. The 18s look odd with the bigger bumpers etc IMO

I must have a look at both then. What brand tyres did your M-Sport 19"s come with? I want to investigate every angle I can before committing to a purchase, especially tyres.

I ordered mine with 19rims , sales guy rekon they come with bridgestone runflats. Dont have the actual specs but they are 19inch runflats narrow and wides. Im very impressed withnthe bridgestones and have always liked the brand.

Wow that looks lovely! Was the black mirrors and roof done by the factory?

Lovely collection :) Those 19"s looks so nice. I guess I will have to have a look. I believe they are also Bridgestones that are fitted. Any gripes that you guys have had with the cars?

Thank you for taking time to respond in this thread, I appreciate it.
