Lets just say theoretically i have decent budget and also not worried about the motorplan, what will my options be for a maximum engine upgrade?
Is the head cracking currently still an issue?

Does anyone know is Remus Exhausts are supported by warranty?
The Remus sounds awesome on the 328i!!!
It gives a DSG like fart on changes.

Remus def not approved ..
only JSN - Schnitzer ..

what head issue is a problem with F30 ???

Big KW mods will kill this car , I think this 2.0l 180kw is on a thin line

This was on the bimmerpost forum for quite a while regarding the head issue on the N20. Torque can not exceed 450 then th head cracks. Not sure if this has been fixed by bmw or not.

Snitzer is just plain robberry!!!
Phoned them for quote and it was 35k just for software and 25k for exhaust (rear silencer only).

Speak to BMW. They state to keep motorplan active that any modifications that are carried out have to first be approved by them, and then installed by them. So if you can twist their arms to fit the Remus it should theoretically work.

:roflol: I'm sorry this is funny. BMW didn't design the car to handle those extreme specs. So it's not their fault if guys tune and break it. So no BMW will not fix anything they didn't design to NOT do.

That is your answer in itself, that's the absolute max you can expect from this motor and bearing in mind this was done by 1st world countries and companies using better grade fuel and better grade everything than SA. So expect lower figures for here.

The reason I mentioned that part was because the original post on bimmerpost stated that the n20 engine was sent to a company in the US to stress test the engine. Once they found this issue bmw went to this company in the states to investigate.
