F30 328i - Driver aids holding back performance

absolutely loving the car, big difference to my e90 320i.

Well to be fair, going to anything after an e90 320i would be a big difference. I know a guy who sold his 320i and just sat in his couch all day watching the weather channel, and could not believe how much more exciting his life got. True story.

Imagine the adrenaline if he sold an E39 540i and sat on his couch

Don't think its a CDV issue. Throttle response is dialled back outside of sport and sport+ modes.

Couldn't find much info, so far tho it seems that you either have sport+ with dynamic traction control or ASC off and comfort throttle settings.

No real delay when snapping (IMHO) although smoother shifting is generally ultimately faster.

Nice car, I have the Sports Auto 328i. When its in Sport+ along with a bit of brake boost launch it launches perfectly and no bog with the Auto. I've always wanted to feel how the manual drives as I was deciding between the 2 for ages.
