I guess you correct, and possibly the current output from the USB port is not as much as from the wall charger / laptops.

Hi guys,Something I investigated for my Merc recently was my USB doesnt charge the phone at all. I was pretty irritated about it and started investigating why.

The USB in my car is under 500amh (stand to be corrected) and it is only to charge a USB external source for data. I do however have a cellphone dock in the armrest with which i used for the phone and my phone charges of there and integrates fully into the comand system. the phone charges extra fast and this dock port is rated close to/over 3000amh (according to website UK read ups).

So huge possibility that the USB port is between 500 - 1000amh hence the slower charge.

I cannot compare bru, only had iPhones...and all my customer buildings say "Explosives prohibited" lol
