Did they replace your turbo bud and is the issue sorted?

Mine will be sold in Feb 2016. Already had turbo replaced at 30000km. But too many other smaller issues....And reports by other drivers that this car might not be so reliable after all...

This morning when started my car there was some white smoke that came out from the exhaust. Is this normal, when i drive or rev the car while sitting in traffic there is no smoke at all. Bear in mind i last used the car Tuesday evening. Car only has 36000km.
Anyone had this happen on their F30?

I had the same problem and send the vehicle into BMW. They kept is overnight and again today to repair a pipe that links the turbo...according the them. I await eagerly to see if it will be fixed

That's the same thing they did on my car. Replaced a pipe that links to the turbo.
car hasn't smoked on startup since. Which dealership is yours booked into?

Looks like i am having the same problem as you guys. I am in Durban can anyone recommend which dealership would be better between SMG Durban or Supertech in Edwin Swales?

I normally take my car to SMG Durban, but I had a major issue with their service the last time.

looks like i spoke to soon. My car started smoking again this weekend, and it is worst then the last time. Like a Rasta hotboxing!!!.

900km left until my MP expires and the car is back at the dealership this morning. :thumbdo:

Hello

I bought a 320i m sport 2013 . I realised after I took it that it does not have xenon headlights and thats really annoying. I want to convert the lights from halogens to xenon with angel eyes, can anyone help please.

Thank you in advanced

Hi guys had the same issue on my 2012 328i. It is the turbo seals guaranteed. Mine is out of plan, had it done privately. No more smoke. Did cost me 6k tho.

I see plenty 320is around that emit smoke even while driving not just on start up..
Early N20's are terrible

This is apparently a known issue with the f30 and has to do with oil seeping back from the turbo feed pipe, BMW basically installs a one-way valve in the feed pipe and a new tappet cover.

I had mine changed as a precautionary measure at BMW about 2 months ago

Anyone know what it's costs to replace the pipe out of motorplan?
