F30 320i bigger turbo options

Howzit

Any ideas for bigger turbo on a 320i without having to do internals...could anyone guide on what's the limits I could push and where I should stop?

How much power you aiming for?......

320i=135kws

328i=180kws

You can just get a 328i.....its a better compression motor, better platform if you want to go even higher with the power.....but then you can just get 335i:rollsmile::rollsmile:

I am not sure anyone has done this on a 320i before. I am also skeptical of the cost vs. benefit vs. reliability given the limitations you might encounter with a proper BT setup on the N20 platform, primarily the block design, compression ratio etc. You might end up spending more money than sourcing a nice 335i...

What is your objective? Just more power? Have you driven one with JB4? What did/didn't you like about it?

There was one guy who modded his f30 at xcede..., a lot of mods saw it make some decent figures...

IIRC they can push around 240kw with some tuning and mods. How long it will last is but a guess? Not too many modded ones around, most guys get a 135i hatch, they are good value for money power wise ATM, perhaps think of that.. As it has been mentioned :=):

Wanted to keep the car, there aren't many modded 320s apart form JB and the minor mods

Going to have to think about the 335 perhaps

There was a thread on the forum about this f30. It was close, if not more than 200kw.

Personally I would do Software plus some minor mods to get more punch as apposed to a big turbo build.
