F30 320d servicing after MP

Hi guys.

So my car is off MP since I purchased it.

I want to keep a service history so sent it to BMW for oil and oil filter change. It is also due for fuel, air and microfilter which I will get done privately. My question is whether to buy OEM parts or can you guys recommend an aftermarket brand that is as good as oem? My Google searches indicate that oem filters are actually Mahle. I have also come across brands like Hengst and Meyle.

Fuel filter I am leaning towards OEM. Air filter either aftermarket or a K&N lifelong which is R300 more than the OEM filter. Microfilter probably after market. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I would probably stick with OEM engine filters and oil.. :thumbs:

Which Microfilter brand is it? Not aware that there are aftermarket ones, it is such an easy DIY too to change the microfilter.

Its R4500 for the big service if want to do at the dealership. Not sure how much it will be privately. R4500 includes the oil change and all those filters. Had mine done the other day.

The microfilter OEM, I think is like R500 on ebay.

Is 4.5k a reasonable price for a service minor service, that sounds a bit expensive ?

4500 is major service ans 1600 for minor. Major is every 3rd service.
