F30 320D - BEST RELIABLE CHIP

Hi Guys,

Please could someone help me, like the the subject says I have an F30 320d and I want options on performance chips. I have contacted a company called ''plugandplaychips.co.za'' something like that. I spoke to a guy there, he mentioned to me they have a veloce chip for 3k. Interms of gains he menioned 15-20kw and 60-80 torque measured on the wheels.

What I wanted to know was, is this a good reliable chip? Will is damage my car and is it traceable if the car is still under motorplan(according to this guy it isnt and it only takes 20mins to install) :fencelook:

Also please could you guys let me know of any other performance chips that will give higher gains without damaging the car or interfering with the motorplan.

Thanks a million guys

I recommend an intro thread.., it does wonders for your car, might even get a few extra KW's or some info on recalls at least that affect your car.

Howzit Bro, to be honest this is the first time I have sort of requested info like this you know, I have absolutely no idea what and intro thread is, nevertheless I shall ask my friend Mr Google later.

Could you tell me how much the ''intro thread'' costs ?

An intro thread is just a new post where you introduce yourself to the forum. Tell us who you are, where you from, what you drive etc etc.

Alrighty I see, I see. Ok... My name is Muhammadh I'm from Umhlanga Durban. I drive a F30 320d it's a 2013 model. Prior to this I used to drive a corolla 130 gle. Had that for a few years, was actually lolling for the right time to buy a new car. That time was 2 weeks ago when I bought the f30 320d.

Intro ? I think I achieved that. Thanks guys

RaceChip Ultimate would be the obvious choice of PnP for the tractors

As for what BMW can and cannot detect. If they go looking they will see the car boosted higher than stock thresholds. For normal services the PnP boxes are fine, it's when things go bust and they start looking.

What gain does the racechip pnp give ?

Plus has anyone gotten their motorplan "cancelled" with using these chips?

Oh and one more thing what the price of a racechip ultimate pnp ?

Go to the racechip website. Everything besides the MP question is there. If you're going to mod on MP you run the risk of loosing your plan. If motorplan is important to you than don't mod.

The forum that one normally posts an intro is here

While i was trying to funny(haha) i ended up coming across as funny(picky and problematic)

It is just better when new guys introduce themselves and their cars as there are alot of guys who join only to get an answer to a question and then leave and thereafter not adding value to the community. It not written in stone, just preferred.
