F25 headlights cracking

Hey guys

So after doing about 18 months of ownership my headlights started cracking up real bad on my 2011 F25.

I recon it is from standing in the sun quite often and it is obviously not helped by standing outside at night often as well.

I looked at some head lights at a local scrap yard but even with broken tabs the guy wanted insane prices for one light. I recon that the same as with the e39s you can split the headlight by heating it up to replace just the clear plastic lens. But I can also find replacement lenses fora almost all BMW models bar the f25.

Anybody maybe have two lying around or pointers on where I might find two good lenses?

Have yo checked on EBay and the like for lenses? They might be as costly as a second hand part though.

I did have a brows around, on ebay you can find almost all bmw clear lenses. not one for the f25.

Hey, try auto body specialists in Midrand. They have the only in-house headlamp repair centre for BMW I believe. They can replace the lenses for you or provide you a swop out repaired unit.
