They usually gain 30+kw on the wheels, I have owned a few 20d's

Wonder if a mild/"safe" tune can improve the 20d engine, it's almost perfect as it is. If there was just more oomph at 160+ km/h, it'll be the absolute perfect daily. What tends to happen sometimes when overtaking is that the car you want to overtake will dangerously increase in speed to prevent you from getting past, even though the driver was driving like a d**s that caused you to overtake on the first place.

I have seen a few 20ds that ran very well after a tune. I think it would be well worth it

You can't really go wrong with the 8 speed 2.0d assuming the oil services and other maintenance items were done, etc.

DP and software and it should run well.
