LOL. I remember from the press releases when they revealed the engine for the M5 that they stated there was going to do a manual version from the start.

Remember, the E60 M5 was later released in a manual version. Off course, not in our wonderful country, so don't hold your breath on the F10...

It's a mule, but then the interior will closely echo the standard Five anyway, it always has. Wouldn't mind a manual option.

That gear lever/knob looks horrid. Doesn't fit in with the rest of the interior.

It will be great if they give the potential buyer the option of manual or DCT - saw this late last night too. Of course E60 M5 was sold in the US with an optional manual gearbox, of all places! :slow:
