F10 Headlight condensation

I noticed this morning after all the rain last night, some condensation in my drivers side headlight.
A brief search on google revealed this is a very common issue on F10's.

Im just wondering if anyone here found a fix without having to remove the front bumper and headlight?

My E92 has the same issue - according to BMW this is acceptable and not a defect...insane, but there you go.

Anyways, I have taken three silica gel packs and stuck them to the lid of the light fitting (not sure if F10 has a similar one for top access) and *touch wood* we had rain over the weekend and whilst the condensation appeared when the rain started it went away almost immediately and has not returned whilst the rain continued. So I think this should work.

Alternative is to buy new unit and well that's just not happening for me.

I had this problem on my F10 but found that the plastic cap that one uses to replace the bulbs had come loose after i replaced the xenon globe which let in water when i washed the car. I put some rubber grease on the lid and put it back on after i used a hair dryer to force hot air into the light fitting to evaporate the existing condensation. My case was so bad the driving lights would not come on and showed an error. I was actually thinking of wrapping the whole light in some kind of thin film but sold the car before i could do it.

Use marine silicon neatly on the edge of the light all round and make sure the covers are sealed nicely where the globes fit

Heres what u do,
Hairdryer to remove the moisture.
then marine silicone and seal around the housings,
check the bulb cap(Back park if damaged also.

i had this problemin my x1 and the methods above worked well.
