F10 535i electric coolant pump missing

Hi guys,

replaced electric coolant pump based on diagnostics. After putting in a new one, the error remains and diagnostics still says 'Electric coolant pump: Missing.'

So the car gives the warning message of engine heat too high, drive slowly bla bla bla and goes into limp mode, even after replacing the pump.

Any advice?

Check the water pump's wiring for continuity as a start. If that checks out, have a look at the ISM module, if I remember correctly, it should have fuses in it, check these too.
