F10 530d - What to look out for?

Hi Folks

I'm going to look at a 2013 530d, pre LCI with 6xxxx KM. Is there anything I need to be on the look out for? The car is still in MP till November next year but regardless are the common issues with these vehicles?

on another note, are there any F10 LCI 530d's out there?????

If the car is under MP, you should be good to go.

Are you buying from a BMW dealer, or 3rd party? If the latter, be sure to inquire who will be paying the MP transfer fee?

Other than that request a printout of the MP report. Look out for big ticket items, and comments.

Its a 3rd Party dealer, car is still under MP, took it for a drive this morning and I still have a massive grin on my face. It doesnt have RFT on it and the tyres are mixed. I raised this with the dealer and asked for all four corners to be replaced with the OEM parts. I will mail the dealer around who is paying the MP fee. Thanks for the info

Depending on the BMW dealer, they will most probably have a problem with the MP inspection and transfer, if you dont fit the car with the OEM spec RFT tires.

If I were you I would make the inspection and transfer of MP conditional to the sale. Last thing you want is the MP suspended due to some other fault, and you are stuck with the car already.

If everything checks out, it will be a sweet ride!
