F10 520d: yay or nay?

Hi guys

As the title suggests, I'd appreciate your input on the f10 520d. My old toppie wants to get a new ride and is looking at a 520d as a prospective replacement for his corolla.
Yeah I know the 5 series would be lightyears better lol

So are there any specific things he should look out for?
The specific model in question is a 2013 F10 520d M sport auto with about 90 000 kms on the clock.

Having driven many 520d, yes yes and yes.
Little sporty, comfort and consumption.
A nice mix.
For the toppie. Yes.
Motors are solid too.
So yes.

I think you ticking the right boxes. The Fseries and the fivers are a good place to look at.

Space...comfort...power and a diesel...you cant really go wrong. And with MP it will get my vote.

Colleague at work has a F10 520d exclusive, he is very happy with it - had no issues. I thought that it may be a case of a BIG car with a little engine but I have been surprised by it. It goes really well, has instant pick up at highway speeds, no slouch at all. Very comfortable and quiet, impressed. I would say its a good buy.

My sister & bro-in-law have one thats fully kitted eg. M-Sport kit, sunroof, xenons 19 inch wheels etc etc...and honestly...i was stumped by it.

I was a non-believer thinking it would be useless at power but it proved me totally wrong, very comfortable..very deceiving...car is an absolute all rounder.

GO FOR IT!
