Exhaust and Service Advice

Good day all

I've had my E90 320D now for about 6 months and I had enough of the Droopy Tail Pipe. I was wondering if anyone can refer me to a good exhaust place in Pretoria to assist me with getting a twin tips fitted.

My car is also due for a service soon and would like to hear some recommendations from fellow fanatics about service guys we can trust in Pretoria. I Don't like the stealers as for them your car is just a number, I prefer a person who does this out of passion and would want you to return to him because he did a good job.

Thanks in advance

HI

Exhaust - Cheetah in Pretoria North - 012 5655135 - Deon is the owner. Tell him Francois Spietkop refered you.

Service - Leo Haese Pretoria is part of the forum, and John is the man in charge of the service department. Feel free to use them without any concerns as he is the most trustworthy guy one can meet.

Good Advice right there ^^^

If you looking for an agent, call up Ross Duncan in Midrand.

Thanks Guys, will have a look at the recommendations.

My car has lately started making weird sounds. My parents drove the 1.9TDi from VW and it made the same noise, the problem on the VW was the tensioner pulley. Mine makes a similar sound to that, just hope its that and not timing chain problems. So thus I would have a expert to look at it and not just some mechanic who plugs in a device and just read codes.

Sometimes you can sense a failure to happen long before a device can detect it.

Went ahead and did the Exhaust tip. Love the look

One quick question how do I post pictures?
I've selected the picture and once its completed it just indicates that image file is missing.
The image is a JPEG and is smaller than 5MB any assistance perhaps guys?

Resize the image to be smaller than 2MB. Should work after that

Sheeesh....that looks fantastic!

Ill do the same but pull the exits a teeny bit further out.

How much did that run you?

I also wanted to put the exits a bit further out, but I didn't like it, it looked out of place for my taste.

PM'ed you the price (Not sure if pricing may be discussed on the forums).

Hey bud, firstly if you going twin pipes, please make sure the guys put the y-piece just after the rear axle or before it and run a pipe each to each tailpiece, if you leave the y-piece right at the end...the car ends up sounding like a citi golf with an annoying whistle. Also, stagger the tips, if the guy you use is a sharp dude...then no way he will let you leave the shop without staggering it as the car will look odd with side by side tips. Good luck!

It does have a stagger as in the picture, just a small stagger but I like it like this.

Looking at the last pic there, that would actually be the same distance I would be looking at.

Do you eliminate the last muffler box?
