Just wanted to get a thumb suck value you guys see a e90 320d AT getting out there in the private market?

2011 320D A/T E90
Alpine White
252 000 km
Gearbox replaced under Motorplan at about 75 000km, in 2013. No issues whatsoever since

Plastic coolant flange replaced at about 210 000km in 2021. No issues whatsoever since

Full Service History, predominantly at BMW but some services were done at independent mechanic.

WeBuyCars quoted me R80 000, which will obviously be pushed lower by their buyer when they physically inspect the car. At that price I might as well just keep the car as an additional vehicle if I do decide to buy something else in the next year or so.

Probably around 110-120 if it is non Msport with that mileage

Yes that is about the best rate you will get for trade with that mileage. And very much lower or around the same at dealerships depending on what you are buying.

If you are willing to go through the hassle of a private sale, then you could make another 20k or so, but at a lot more risk and time wasting.

Just a quick update for anyone that might wonder:

WeBuuyCars offered me about R80k, as Sherwin mentioned above, so I sold the vehicle privately to a colleague for R90 000 in APRIL 2025.

Was a reluctant sale in the end, but a third vehicle on the yard is sometimes more trouble than it is worth. Might buy it back from the colleague in the future
