Finally dropped my E39 530d off for a gearbox rebuild, they also gave me a print out with an "1E30" error code description: "Boost-pressure control or boost-pressure controller"
I've had the car chipped, which would suggest that the boost has been increased/altered, if my car was standard what symptoms would it give?
