Engine swap, wiring advice needed

I have a BMW E36 325is and I'm swapping my engine to an E46 M3 engine. I'm looking forward to completing this swap before summer is done and I'm serious need of advice to this conversion work.
I'm in need of wiring advice ASAP

Have your tried the E36 wiring diagram online and maybe an E46 wiring also and see what you can work out?

This won't be easy at all if you also planning on using the DME off the E46 as well. You might be better off using an aftermarket DME to get it going.

Import an aftermarket ecu designed for the S54, will save you alot of headaches and still have the option of fiddling with settings to optimise future upgrades.
How are you going to get past the sump/subframe clearance issue?

Sorry i left for a bit, I'm not sure on how it ought to work. Because i assumed the e36 m3 engine and e46 m3 sump were positioned the same.
