Engine for 1998 325tds

:cursin: :cursin: :bawling: :bawling: I have blown the head gasket on my 325tds and have been advised to try and get hold of a good second hand engine for it. I am based in East London and am appealing to anyone who knows of a good engine going to let me know. Thanks

I'm really sorry to hear about this man.
What I would recommend is that you get a donor car, possbly one that has rolled over the strip the engine form so that you can get all the wiring etc, that has to do with the engine, or try to get the excat same engine that you origanlly had in the car, which I think might be hard to find seeing as there aren't a lot of 325tds around (i think). This is of course just my opinion and I am by no means an expert in these kinds of things.

It may be worth giving Hennie ( Belgic Auto ) a call, he specialises in BMW and i just got awesome service from him. He might know of something. 041 453 2965

You could also try Gelder Motors ( Kobus ) he buys wrecked BMW's and strips for spares. Has all ways got a couple motors on the floor.
