If you dont mind me asking what have you spent so far and how long has it taken you ?

im embarrassed to say how much ive spent.. far too much, and its taken about a year and a half to get to this point.. but i treat it like a hobby, and hobby time can get scarce at times..

Unfortunately that's the way these things are. Couple of years ago I spent close to R100k on a 2 door Golf Mk1 project. Sold it after 3 years for less than half that.... Unfinished.... I don't regret the experience, but regret the vast amount of money that I poured into this.

Will I do it again? Yes, but much differently :thumbs:

Doing a project car can at times lead to a lot of work without a positive outcome. It has to do with clearly defined goals and sticking to them instead of changing mid stream.

I suppose we learn as we go along and each project becomes better planned and managed.

I am sorry to hear of the financial loss you suffered and not completing the project. as you said next time it will be vastly different.
