Engine cutting out at 60km/h and 120km/h

Hi, hope someone can help. I have a 1996 BMW 316i - it happened a few times now that when I drive the engine cuts out and the dash lights come on and I have to start the engine again. Sometimes at a speed of 120km/h and also at 60km/h. When I turn the key in the ignition after it failed at 120km/h, the engine starts immediately. Would the fuel pump be the reason for this or something else? Comments and advice would be appreciated. I replaced the fuel filter earlier this year but bought a new one again just to be safe as well as a fuel pump that I still need to put in.

if not the above airflow meter could be a possibility,blocked air filter

Crank position sensor maybe?
