Engine Cosmetic Cover

Good Afternoon

The Foam under the Engine Cosmetic cover on my BMW with the N47 engine have pulled loose and is busy disintegrating.

I wanted to order a new cover from BMW, but they are over 4K.

Does anybody perhaps know how I can fix this DIY and where to get heat/fire resistant foam?

Based in Cape Town.

You could try BMParts, they have used ones that don't have too much wear normally for a quarter of the price.
