I know but imagine the poor oke that cannot afford electronic banking. I had one employee who was waiting for pay day, on that Friday, so that she could buy a bus ticket to go and visit her parents. She was shattered when we where not paid on time. I lent her some money to get by the weekend. A lot of people are in this unfortunate situation and are just expected to accept matters when it happens. I agree with Jandre's philosophy "make sure you pay yopur staff on time..."

I have a business model in mind for kinda like a west coast customs but with dynamics to suit the african market, operating in SBU's from organic growth. I have been looking for oppertunities for a very very long time now.... and its few and far between.

LZ you must visit soon (or the other way around) we should brainstorm this idea, the $ certainly in JHB for that type of thing, though one needs to support it with bread and butter business inbetween.

Will look up Dennis Leary , you heard of Lewis Black and George Carlyn, these guys just see it the way I do, love listening to them in the car on the way to work, always makes for a day where I suffer no fools at all.:thumbsup:

Thanks bud, will survive judging by the other three co workers in the same boat there's going to be some bloodshed tomorrow untill it's sorted.

People make mistakes, that I will always understand, it's human to err. It's how one deals with those mistakes that counts, guess I won't sleep tonight, and tomorrow I will find out whether my employers are worth it or not.

Dont worry know this feeling aswell. Get paid but every month it is getting less and less. You question and then it is this or the other. I now earn less than I did 2 years ago when I started.

its because of this kind of crap that i have a 40k overdraft on my account.. when you work on contract people sometimes only pay you when they get paid..

If you take into account inflation and real inflation, even if you got your 6% increase year on year, real inflation has not kept up with the reserve bank targets for some other reason, something about window dressing

From December I am back onto Commission only earnings and that will halve my income, the way it is going now....

Many people for some unexplainable reason, will still do business with me but not now.... waiting for answers on quotes, forms to be signed, forms to be returned, etc, etc.....

And when you open your eyes, another month has passed.

I am seriously looking for supplementary income, or as they call it these days: "a portfolio of careers"
