Eibach 35mm lowering kit

Hi Guys,

Any of you done this on an E90. I feel my ride height is a bit too high (from an external view) and want it a bit lower.

I have the standard package which came with the 16" rims but have long since replaced the rims with the 17" E90 sportspack rims (narrows and wides)

Now even though I would like the ride height to be lower, I do not want to really compromise the ride quality and handling. I do though know that the Eibach's are progressive and I also do acknowledge that there is a possibility that ride quality will suffer slightly. I previously had Koni springs installed on a previous car and was quite impressed with ride quality.

So - after the long story, has anyone had any experience in this regard?

If you looking for ride quality like "stock"; soft & comfy; you not going to get it when you swop it out for ANY performance coil over system.

Eibach has been offering quality suspension kits & parts lately. There are some good reviews on their new air suspension for the ///M cars. Look at other systems as well. See my review of the bilstein kit (browse under my username).

thought he was just swapping out springs... the springs dont seem to change the ride... least not on the e46...

Go check on Eibach's website. They actualy promote their brand with the BMW e90. I take it your looking at the Pro Kit which is just the springs. Last time i checked the springs and fitting at Autoquip was around R3800. Very nice drop, and not too uncomfortable. More like an elegant drop than a hardcore ready to race drop.

Just want to change springs yes. Not sure if it is the Pro Kit, but I called Racing Edge and they quoted R2200.00 for the Springs only.

This is what I want yes, and elgant drop, if you could call it that. The car is back at the machy though this morning to check what triggered the management light so will wait for outcome on this first.

Guess the drop will have to wait now. Need to fork out another R3k on the car today to replace Valvetronic Controller and Crank case breather.

Wish I had the $$$ to do the same.

Check with Koni South Africa. They stock the H&R springs for the E90.
