Early Xmas Present (new lights)

Good Morning Fellow Fanatics!

So I decided to go to The Racing Edge here in Parow and got myself
some cosmetic parts on the weekend - a little Xmas shopping, if you will.

Bought a set of rear clear taillights (R1500), clear side indicators (R195)
and also - I wanted some new bulbs so I got myself a pair of Philips H1
Diamond Vision (R295). Total was R1990 and as for the clear front indicators, the owner says he didn't have anymore in stock so he may order some.

As for the quality is definitely not the same as OEM but then again, I didn't expect it to be...and guess where it was made? It was either made in Taiwan or China hahahaha! I should probably go there and buy my parts

So while Gregg (close mate of mine, some of you have met him during a few park-offs and b-runs) and I was working on installing the lights, I decided to take off the rear bumper and just to see why it was starting to 'sag down' (noticeable from the side).

It turns out, due to one of my 'urban farming' incidents  that both side 'sliders' (if you will) have completely cracked. Will definitely have to replace the pair...wondering where you can get them?

And as for the new light bulbs...it definitely have a whiter light compared
to standard yellow bulbs. Although I don't think it's bright enough, however, as suggested by Sankekeur - I should give the projector lenses itself a thorough clean  Oh! and I put them in the low beam F.Y.I. So expect an update on the light bulbs.

Next up is taking off the front bumper and installing the front clears and giving the projector-lenses a thorough clean

Looking Good there Max.

Those brackets should be bought at the dealer (unless you happen to find them cheaper on an import site) cause scrapyards just dont do them. The are the first to break in any accident...

The are not too expensive, or did not use to be... I bought some for the E46 about 2 years ago ant they were R80 odd each.
