e92 m3 running nos?

hi, just wondering have any of you tried running nitrous in your e92 m3 yet?

Have considered it many times, but too scared of losing the motorplan, maybe once I have done another 70000km.

Are you planning on adding NOS?

As much as I acknowledge Sybie knows how to get Gas to work , it must be noted of a few X35s that have lost their motors due to the install.

I would rather suggest a safer proven route to make reliable power all the time.

AKA SUPERCHARGER taking into consideration the usual basic mods have been completed : Mapping , Xpipe , Pulleys (at this stage I assume driver wants more power)

I agree with shaun, its a cheaper alternative and can be the most expensive alternative at the same time if you weigh the risk vs reliability factor.

Yeah Shaun i understand what u saying but the only reason i am opting for this route is because my motorplan is still active and a few guys have told me that BMW wont pick up the use of nos as long as its installed correctly and removed when time before services. I'm not sure how far that is true but i do just hope that they are right:bangdesk:

potential for leaks and other problems is rather large if you taking it off often... bolt on supercharger will be easier to remove

M3s are known for camshaft failures. If a M goes in for replacement , the likely hood of them removing more of only the camshaft is fairly good meaning they could possibly see NOS was used as it should show some sort of signs on the valves , pistons etc.

If car is with plan I personally would never touch NOS. Supercharger is a bolt on , bolt off option.

Was just about to say. Havent heard of any S65 issues regarding the camshafts.

Had it happen on my first V8 last year sometime. The one I have now seems not to have these issues. Was told by the dealer there have been a few failures.

The only ine Ive physically seen being installed and driven in the car is the ESS Kit.

Sherwin from Xcede has already done a few V8 M3's including his own.

ESS is a winner all round , highly suggest speaking to Sherwin.

Low boost and car makes awesome power.
