Hi all.
I took my E92 325 for a small scratch repair (nothing major)
When I collected, I noticed water in the driver's pullout storage area. Didn't think much of it, just dried it up (thought they probably just did something stupid to get it wet)
Next day, my windows, mirrors, seat belt Butler all not working (from the driver side controls - worked fine from passenger side and key fob). For me that said FRM malfunction.
Took it back to them, they reset the footwell module, and all is working again. Guy reckons it's because they had to disconnect the door from the FRM.
My question is:
1) is this a satisfactory explanation
2) how on earth do you think the water got into the storage wells? It was raining the day I picked up, could water get in from rain? Note that there was NO water anywhere else in the car. Carpets, everything was dry.
