E90 vibration

I have a problem with vibration in my car when I drive 120km/h or faster. I have never had this problem in a BMW before. Could wheel balancing be a problem or does this happen with run flat tires?

what he said...balancing, because of our fine Roads in South Africa, makes me want to buy a farming implement...(Bakkie).

Oh, and try and get them to use as little weight as possible. Some guys are lazy and just slap on a stack before trying to rotate the tyre on the wheel to see if this brings the weight requirement down. The fitment guys don't like you watching over their shoulders, but the hell with that. This is my car and I paid good money to be happy with it.

By the way, do you have an after market wheel on your car?

Stuff that - I will watch them! Paying for the tyres fitted and work done, and too easily end with scratched/chipped wheels! And the secret to removing/fitting RFT's onto a rim without causing damage is simple, they must take their time rather than brutally rush the process!

Best is to have wheels balanced as often as possible - at least every 5000km!

Check your wheel alignment, i had the same problem, vibration over 120kmh is due to wheel alignment in most cases, below 120Kmh is wheel balancing.
